The Science
The Resolve handpiece delivers laser energy in pulses measured in picoseconds (trillionths of a second) — far shorter than nanosecond lasers. This ultra-brief pulse duration creates a photoacoustic shockwave rather than a heat-based reaction.
The shockwave shatters melanin and pigment particles into microscopic fragments. These fragments are small enough for your immune system's macrophages to engulf and clear through the lymphatic system over the following weeks.
