Luxury Clinical Aftercare

PicoWay® Tattoo Laser Aftercare

Protect the result. Support natural healing. Return at the right time.

Aftercare is part of your tattoo removal result. Your skin continues responding after treatment, and proper care helps support healing, reduce irritation, and protect long-term fading.

Immediately After Treatment

What to Expect

Mild redness, warmth, swelling, frosting, itching, and scant to mild blistering or scabbing may occur. These responses are expected parts of the healing process.

Tattoo fading is gradual and often requires multiple sessions.

First 7 Days

Protect the Result

Keep the treated area clean, avoid friction, and protect from sun exposure while the skin restores.

  • Keep the area clean and dry as directed
  • Avoid rubbing, scratching, tight clothing, or friction over the treated area
  • Protect the area from sun exposure
  • Avoid pools, hot tubs, lakes, oceans, and saunas while healing
  • Avoid harsh skincare, exfoliants, retinol, acids, or active products over the treated area

Throughout Healing

Support Natural Healing

Do not pick, pop, scrub, or prematurely remove healing skin. Let the area recover naturally.

  • Do not pop blisters
  • Do not pick or remove scabs
  • Do not scrub or exfoliate the treated area
  • Use cool compresses if needed for comfort
  • Follow any personalized instructions provided by 86INK

Your Next Appointment

Return in 8–12 Weeks

Return in 8–12 weeks for your next treatment.

This spacing allows your body time to clear ink particles and your skin time to recover. Your timeline may vary based on ink color, density, location, skin type, and healing response.
